
On my PC I have tried uninstalling all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ instances, and that still produced the "Another autodesk install/update." message. This happens with any Autodesk products we try to install, so not limited to Revit LT suite or BDSP.

Having browsed, I have also downloaded the parts from the Autodesk virtual agent, and that install fails for the same reasons also. If we try and install through the Autodesk Desktop App, it begins to download, then the install fails with a 'Install error 1618' code. We have the setup files saved to a network drive for easy access, however as soon as we run setup, we get the black box with "Another Autodesk Install/update is now occurring." message. We are trying to update and install the new 2017 versions, and coming across the error above, however we try to install the software.


We have 14 PC/Laptops across our office network, using a range of Revit LT Suite 2016 and BDSP 2016. First post, and one which is causing us some headaches.
